Local authors Glenwood “Carol” and Jeremy “Cole” O’Dell, invited to appear at the Hollywood Book Festival to read excerpts from “Mountain Game”

North Fork, Calif. - July 25 (News Release) On Saturday, July 28th, at 11:00 am., the authors of “Mountain Game” (ISBN: 978-0-9796489-0-8) will read excerpts on stage at the 2007 Hollywood Book Festival. This annual event offers recognition to a wide variety talent, receiving acknowledgment from the film, television, multimedia and video game communities. The festival is free to the public taking place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Barnsdall Art Park, located at 4800 Hollywood Blvd, Hollywood, CA 90028

The Hollywood Book Festival, produced by JM Northern Media LLC, producers of the DIY Convention and DIY Book Festival. The board of advisors for the Hollywood Book Festival include Richard Martini, film director; Ethlie Ann Vare, author/TV writer; Maria Armoudian, KPFK radio personality/journalist ; Nancy Rainford, author/agent; and Bruce Haring, Author / conference director.

During the afternoon secession panel discussions on the following topics will be covered:

  • 2 p.m. PANEL: FROM BOOK TO TV/FILM – THE TRANSFORMATION OF PRINT”

At 4 p.m. the 2007 HOLLYWOOD BOOK FESTIVAL AWARDS will be held at the Gallery Theatre, Barnsdall Art Park. Actress Michele Dominguez Green, "L.A. Law" and "Six Feet Under" and author of "Chasing The Jaguar,” will be the MASTER OF CEREMONIES.
